Ropley Playgroup & Pre-School aims to enhance the development and education of your child in a safe and happy environment. Our commitment is to enable children to explore opportunities offered through indoor and outdoor play, which will support their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
As a Charity with a parent run Committee, we understand what it means to provide a secure and friendly environment where children are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities offered through a planned curriculum.
Individual attention is made possible by the OFSTED recommended ratio of staff to children. Each child is supported in making their own choices and at their own pace, with their key person identifying each stage of their development and supporting them through their unique learning experience. We believe this helps your child behave in an appropriate way and enables them to function comfortably and confidently outside of the family group. This is especially important as your child approaches that time when they will start their school years.
The memories and achievements we capture are added to your child’s personal Learning Journey, which becomes a story of their time at Ropley Playgroup & Pre-School, and a memento to treasure for years to come.
We are OFSTED inspected, registered for the Early Years Education Grant scheme and members of The Pre School Learning Alliance.
We have excellent links with Ropley Primary School and also welcome children who may later attend other primary schools.
We are open Monday to Friday from 9am until 12pm and available for children aged from 2 years 9 months old.
Each day we run a lunch club from 12pm until 1pm, which enables children to have their lunch in a social setting and to enjoy further activities in addition to those on offer during the morning session.
